Buddhist Funerals

My name is Amarasiddhi. I live in Brighton and conduct Buddhist funerals in London, Brighton, Sussex and the South-East.
 
I have been a Buddhist for over 12 years and I am a member of the Western Buddhist Order.

I lived in Buddhist communities for nine years: in Cambridge, in London. For five years I lived, taught and lead retreats at Rivendell, a Buddhist retreat Centre near Uckfield in East Sussex. I now work as an independent celebrant leading funerals and naming ceremonies

Ceremonies and celebrations are important occasions in our lives.

My aim is to help create ceremonies that are significant, appropriate and meaningful for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists. These can range from quite simple ceremonies, rather like a humanist ceremony but with some Buddhist content (often for European Buddhists whose family and friends are mainly non-Buddhists), to more elaborate Buddhist services.
